Our Vision
Dancel’s Academy welcomes both children and adults, fostering a family-oriented environment where students grow not only as martial artists, but as individuals. The academy emphasizes discipline, technique, self-defense, and character development, all within a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes family unification.
Kali
Kali, also known as Escrima or Arnis, is a Filipino martial art that teaches coordination, timing, and practical self-defense through both weapons and empty-hand training. Available for all ages.
Adults
Our adult program blends effective self-defense training with total-body conditioning, helping you build strength, endurance, and flexibility.
Kids
Our kids program uses fun, high-energy drills to develop coordination, focus, and listening skills, while helping each child grow in confidence, behavior, and character.
Tae-Ni-Tots
Our Tae-Ni-Tots program helps little ones grow in confidence, focus, and perseverance, all while having fun and feeling successful. Starting at age 3!

Being a part of the DATKD community for the past 8 years has helped my children grow into confident and conscientious individuals. DATKD has become a second family and surrounding my children with their positive support system both on and off the mat has been priceless. In addition to all of the social and emotional benefits, DATKD is also a fully rounded studio.
Students have an opportunity to learn Taekwondo & Kali, which are the main styles taught; as well as Hapkido, and Jujitsu as higher ranked belts. Depending on your opponent, students are taught to identify if they would need to switch between the different styles to defend themselves against close, mid, or long range opponents. They would also be able to use and disarm against weapons like knives or sticks. All aspects of self defense are covered!

We joined DATKD during a time when our oldest daughter was struggling with her confidence and self-esteem. As parents, we were eager to see our social butterfly come out of her shell again. From the very beginning, we were drawn to the strong sense of community at DATKD and felt it was a place where she could truly flourish.
The moment Amma stepped onto the mat, something clicked—her eyes lit up, and her passion for Taekwondo was born. She also began training in Kali, and now we can hardly get her off the mat! DATKD has become such a big part of our lives that it truly feels like we live, eat, and breathe it.
The transformation in our daughter has been incredible. We’ve watched her grow in confidence, develop discipline, and discover a deep sense of drive and motivation. Most importantly, she’s genuinely happy coming off the mat with the biggest smile every time.
It has been such a joy to see our goofy, vivacious girl come back to life. We are so grateful to DATKD for the positive impact they’ve had not only on her, but on our entire family
